Titanic Hotel, Belfast - 6 days Titanic Hotel Belfast
Located at the heart of Belfast's Titanic Quarter, the legendary Harland & Wolff Headquarters and Drawing Offices is now the world's most authentic Titanic hotel, offering an unforgettable experience for anyone visiting Northern Ireland. Public spaces are sumptuously furnished with vintage posters, rare historical photos and contemporary artworks amidst preserved architectural features. Guests are welcome to explore the hotel's exclusive art and heritage collection created in collaboration with museum institutions, historians, private collectors and local artists. Exhibiting over 500 artworks and photographs throughout the building, passenger portraits and authentic White Star Line memorabilia transports the viewer back to the Golden Age of Ocean Travel. Visual treasures from the Harland & Wolff archive convey the design and engineering prowess of the Belfast shipyard. Original artefacts and architectural features are waiting to be discovered as you open drawers or push doors.

The itinerary will include

Day One: An early morning departure from Spalding, making our way to the ferry teminal at Cairnryan with a couple of convenience stops on route. Our ferry will take us straight into Belfast with just a 15 minute drive to our hotel, arriving at the hotel about 6.30pm

Day Two: We will have a timed ticket for the Titanic Experience in the morning, just across the road from the hotel, this ticket will also allow you to visit the SS Nomadic either later today or later in the week. When you come out of the experience the rest of the day is free to enjoy as you wish.

Day Three: Today we depart from the hotel at 9am and make our way out to the Antrim coast with a stop in Carnlough. Carnlough Harbour in Northern Ireland was a Game of Thrones filming location, famously used as the Free City of Braavos in Season 6, specifically in the scene where Arya Stark crawls up the harbour steps after being stabbed by the Waif, seamlessly blending with CGI and shots from Girona, Spain, to represent the canals. Fans visiting the picturesque coastal village can find the distinctive stone steps, now marked with an info panel. We will eventually reach the Giants Causeway. Here we will have time to visit the Giants Causeway and the Visitors Centre. We will then head to the Old Bushmill Distillery. Bushmills is home to the world’s oldest licensed whiskey distillery. Official records stretch back to 1608, when the area was granted its license to distil. Over 400 years later, whiskey is still being made in Bushmills, thanks to experience and craft passed down from generation to generation. You will have time here to visit the gift shop and the bar. Our final stop of the day will be Dunluce Castle (Game of Thrones filming location) before making our way back to the hotel for about 5.30pm

Day Four: Depart the hotel at 9.30am to Derry. Derry (Londonderry) offers history, culture, and modern attractions, with highlights including walking the 400-year-old City Walls for views, exploring the Guildhall, learning about the Troubles at the Museum of Free Derry or Tower Museum (including the "Derry Girls" exhibition), crossing the Peace Bridge, and experiencing vibrant pubs and street art, especially the famous Derry Girls mural. Guided history tours of the Bogside offer powerful insights into the city's past

Day Five: Free time to explore Belfast at your leisure. If you are interested in the ‘Troubles’ then I can recommend a Black Cab Tour out to the murals, memorials and the Peace Wall. Crumlin Gaol and City Hall are also worth a visit along with the Botanic Gardens, Ulster Museum and the Cathedral Quarter.

Day Six: Depart from the hotel at 10am, for the ferry to Cairnryan. We expect to arrive back in Spalding at about 10pm with a couple of convenience stops on route

Please note that all times are approximate until you receive your final itinerary two weeks before departure.
